Darin joins the Coronas at the time of a severe pilot shortage, not long after the Battle of Yavin. Due to this, it is not a full squadron, with no Eleven or Twelve.

The Bilgana – Humanoid species. Males have skin the color of charcoal, while females have greenish-grey skin. Average about five feet tall (1.5 meters). Lithe. Two main eyes and two "peripheral" eyes, one on each side of their face. Four arms: two on each side, one at the shoulder, the other at lower rib level. Walk erect, but can also move very quickly by hunching down and using their lower arms for running support, somewhat similar to gorillas. Legs are structured like the hind legs of a cat, dog, or horse. Speech habits often include placing nouns and verbs before the words that describe them.
